This is a web based award given to the person who watches the maximum number of films at CIFF and gives his own personalized account of the films watched, not exceeding 100 words. Engage & experience the films wholeheartedly and communicate your personal experience. Post this on the website daily.

Writing a few lines after every film you watch, guarantees a good chance of winning this award. Receive this award along with the Competition Section winners during the grand closing ceremony. A special opportunity for film lovers to share the stage with acclaimed film makers.

Venues Of CIFF 2010

10th Chennai International Film Festival 2012 will have screenings in a total of eight screens across five centrally located venues in the city of Chennai. Like all previous year, 10th CIFF too will have Woodlands Theatre Complex in Royapettah as a venue with two screens - Woodands and Woodlands Symphony. Inox Cinemas, Chennai Citi Centre, will run CIFF films in Screen 2 and Screen 3 & also host the Exclusive Red Carpet Screenings in the evenings, like it did in 9th CIFF 2011. Sathyam Cinemas will have CIFF Films screened in its Seasons & 6 Degrees screens. (morning show on all days except Saturday & Sunday) Rani Seethai Hall and Casino Theatre will be the other two venues.

AWARDS  

The CIFF Trophy was designed in a contest among upcoming artists in the prestigious Govt. College of Fine Arts- Chennai, which has been a major influence in chiselling the Madras Art Movement. From among the fifty four entries submitted, a selection panel of artists,ICAF & CIFF advisory committee members selected the winning design sculpted by J Mohamed Nasar, a 3rd year student. The awards sponsored by Real Image Technologies was then cast in Bronze from its clay model. CIFF connects arts & artists of Chennai as it evolves.
